Summary
Free Speech Impediment
By Rory O'Connor, AlterNet. March 10, 2005.
MediaCultu This Sunday's episode of ABC's Boston Legal focusing on
censorship was itself censored, purged of all references to Fox and
Bill O'Reilly. And nobody's talking.

Watch Boston Legal tomorrow -- 10:00 PM Easter

Do you have a boat Jim or have you done any boating?

Yup

If so, how about telling us about it? That would be far more
interesting that posting the political opinions of others in a boating
NG.

The opinions I post reflect mine -- just that the writing is better.

As to my boats -- I suppose if you count whatever floats as a boat i have
7 at last count

1 (supposed 2 man) Coleman inflatable -- carried in my Irwin
1 4man sea eagle (also in Irwin, but soon to be sold)
1 4man Achilles
1 coleman 2 man riged dingy (in the rafters of my garage)(wanna buy it?)
1 17' Doral (vintage 196? I'm trying to restore
1 22' Crestliner
1 28' Irwin

OK Jim -- your turn -- tell us about your boat.

My boats? I already have, several times.

I must have missed it -- please indulge my curiosity.

Go look. ;-)

Are you ashamed to admit it? Wanna buy my 8' ridged dingy?

No, I already own an 11 foot Achilles wrapped up in the attic for now.

And yes, due to my wife's medical condition we sold our 32 footer.

I never denied I was without a boat for now. Where have you been? Look
some more and you will find what I have owned over my 25 years of boating.

Why are you trying to make this discussion confrontational?

Where do you boat?

At the risk of inciting (exciting?) a stalker, I boat mostly on Lake
Ontario -- the Genesee river, and an occasional excursion to one of the
many small lakes around here
What type of boating do you do?
None last year due to heart surgery -- I have a power boat new to me
this year, with the intent of doing the Erie Canal, and seeing if I can
still handle my sailboat -- end of the season I will sell one or the other

How is the restoration
on the Doral going?

Postponed for a while because of health -- I need to paint it, pit the
trim back, mount the OB, and controls, and rebuild a bulkhead.

How long have you been boating?

most of my life -- owned a boat of one sort or another since the early
60s mostly canoes and kayaks then -- got my first "big" boat in 84 (20'
Ensenada)

As I understand it, you don't have a boat? -- I'll have 1 for sale end
of season. -- Good boat -- good price.

I'm supposed to increase my heart rate at least 3x/week -- so 3x/week I
go to the YMCA for S&S (sweat and Suffer) sessions. political
discussion is much easier
