Another fine boating topic!
"Harry Krause" wrote in message ... BEIJING, Mar. 10 (Xinhuanet) -- A U.S. presidential panel will report to President George W. Bush this month that American intelligence on Iran's nuclear programs is inadequate, sources familiar with the commission's work say. The report resulting from a 14-month review by the panel comes at a time when intelligence agencies are ready to make a new formal assessment on Iran, Washington Post said on its Web site on Wednesday. The Bush administration has been accusing Iran of developing weapons of mass destruction. The U.S. has warned repeatedly against the nuclear arms program which it says Iran is pursuing. But Tehran insists that it taps nuclear energy only for civilian purposes. The nine-member bipartisan panel had unrestricted access to the most senior people and the most sensitive documents of the intelligence agencies, Washington Post reported. The commission will also recommend in the report further structural changes among intelligence agencies. Enditem - - - gosharoonie...you don't suppose the Bush Admininstration would be dumb enough to invade a country on the basis of bad intel? Nah. Couldn't happen here. |
