Harry admits to editing news stories, then posting them here as if they are
complete and factual, when in fact they are neither. Why am I not surprised
that Harry lacks any moral decency? That he would lie, and intentionally
mislead? Not surprising at all.

He's a shining star... a beacon representing his chosen political party.

I thought you righties were going to refrain from namecalling for a while.

I posted facts, and the only names I called you were "shining star" and
"beacon". What's not to like?

Besides, I didn't sign on to the pledge. I will, if you pledge to not edit
your "news stories" to slant their view before you post them.

I'd ask that you not post OT at all, but there's not a snowball's chance in
hell of that, eh? After all, you *are* the pollution in rec.boats.

Harry should be editing any news stories he posts here. Such content
should be limited to fair use excerpts with credit to the source. It
is appropriate to include a link when posting the material to an
on-line forum. Posting of such items in their entirety is a copyright
violation.

And no, simply inlcuding the copyright notice at the end does not make
it legal to post items in their entirety. Excerpts should be very
limited - a paragraph or two with attribution.

Harry, are you the author of the material you posted in the first post
of this thread?

I don't think Harry said any such thing, Jim. And, as your original
post on the subject eludes to, it isn't just name calling. Making
untrue statements about someone is also part of it, as is general
flaming.
