For the moment I am boatless. After some 25 years of boating we sold our 32

Perhaps we will buy something in another 5 years when we buy our retirement
house on the water. Most likely a lot sooner.....it will be a smaller boat
though. ;-)

I always looked forward to April and spent a good 2 weeks getting the boat
prepped before launch.
April 15th for me.

We'll get the boat out of storage on the first Saturday after 01 April.
I don't feel like looking for a calendar After I de-winterize it,
we'll probably get it to the summer boat storage in early May. We may
or may not launch it at that time. Memorial Day weekend at the latest.

We were planning on taking Far Cove to the Gulf Islands to see the
Arrogant Worms, but I've been fighting a flu and we didn't think that cold
air would be good for me.

I'm getting a V-boat (flyfishing) this Saturday and taking it out on Mill
Lake. Sunday, assuming I get the electrical outlet fixed on the truck,
I'll be launching the Tin Boat in Allouette.

In other words, I "launch" whenever I want to.

The 'Victoria Day' weekend is popular around here (late May) but depends on
the weather.
