Four Winns Vista 378
I am looking at a new 2004 Four Winns Vista 378. This boat has the
Volvo Penta GXi engines (420 hp each) and most of the optional equipment that is offered. Seems like I'm getting a decent deal for $200K. There is not much on the interent in the way of reviews, experiences, advice for this model. Will someone please share their opinions, experiences and advice about owning this boat? Things to look out for when I sea test it? Pricing considerations? Fun factor? I live in the Baltimore area and would really like to speak to someone who has first hand experience. Your thoughts are greatly appreciated!!! |

Heck, Im finding funny things for the first time, that are 10 years old! Anyway, its a great boat. My only complaint, is I wish it had a higher fuel capacity. But only because I would like to get to my beach condo in Cancuun (620 mi), and it is out of range. But I can get to my Port-au-Prince slip (370 mi) by running on one engine at a time. |

Sorry wrong group, here all you get is that another boat is better or
the one your looking at is no good. Sorry to be so negative but I don't want you to hurt your feelings. There was nothing negative about it. If you are going to spend that kind of money for a boat, buy something from somebody who has been building this size boats for years - quality boats for about the same dollars. I have nothing against Four Winns, but it seems to me that if you are about to spend this kind of money, get a yacht from an established yacht maker. Four Winns has just introduced these boats and I'd be wary of purchasing something from a first time hull builder. Besides, you can get diesels which will be one hell of a lot cheaper to run that those humongous gas guzzlers. Later, Tom |
Harry,
He is just following your lead in trolling effectively. You have stated many times, your objective is to **** off those who disagree with you. It looks like hkrause is very effective in ****ing you off.
