460 wasn't til the late 60's or early 70's. In 64 all the big blocks were still the "FE" block 390,406,427.

They were more popular in the California-Style jet boats than other installations. The Olds 455 was big in the jets, too, for some odd reason... the 454 Chebbies almost always outran the Olds and Ford... Rob |
