searching for a second hand boat? This is the easy way

www.surfing4boats.com
This site is brilliant! I always get very frustrated when searching for
a second hand boat. There are just too many sites where a boat might be
for sale. A couple of weeks ago i discovered this site
www.surfing4boats.com. It's a meta searchengine that searches over 300
websites worldwide and it's still growing. In one search i have an
overvieuw where my boat might be for sale. Brilliant!

If it's so damn good, why isn't my boat on it?

Hey John,

the site is still developing and apparantly mainly focused on europe at
this moment. I was looking for a boat in Holland and it worked
perfectly. Take a look later if it's further developed or just ad sites
yourself.

Actually, I was making a facetious reply to what I'd thought was a
spammer! My apologies.

Are you a Nederlander? I have some great friends living just south of
Gouda. Whenever they pick me up at Schiphol (sp?) I love looking at
the boats in the canals along the road back to Gouda. Peace and
serenity reigns. I love it.

apologies accepted John. I was a bit surprised though. It's the first
time i actually posted something on a newsgroup myself and this was the
first reaction. But i just wanted to share my experience for the
general purpose. It might help someone searching for a boat. i thought.
And yes, i am a Nederlander. The canals and waterways are quite nice
but i prefer the bigger blue!

These days, you better have some commando training to survive posting here.
The 'dark forces' seem to have taken over the group....especially since

We do seem to have more than our fair share of over-the-edge righties. I
have a feeling John Herring is going to get nailed any moment now on a
road rage charge.
