Actually from a physical and engineering point the detonation theory
makes sense.... Since I am running an optimax I am open to any information to make sure my motor stays happy ![]() Matt |

Talk about the blind leading the uninformed... what a joke the whloe thread has been. Butch Is there any way to find out what percentage of Ficht motors are still in operation? Does Bombadier Recreational Products have the data? Say by year? Since they have the warrantee registration data, it would seem to be a simple thing for them to find out. del cecchi |

Don't know about data from the company... but the boards seem amazingly free of negative comments. I seem to remember a JD Powers owner survey a while back??? In my area, Mobile Bay, there are no complaints about any DFI engines. Law enforcement seems to run a lot of them and I've spoken with the Fish and Game as well as the Marine Police guys with FICHTs who say they've had zip problems. All very anecdotal but from my perspective of running a FICHT for six years with absolutly no issues it all fits. Butch wrote in message oups.com... I dont think they would ever disclose that matt |
