Ebay raised its prices and a lot of sellers (reportedly ) are leaving. I'm
always checking out the marine goodies on there.
So if they are leaving, where are they going? In other words which of the
alternate ebay type sites are the best? Someone suggested overstock dot com,
but there doesn't seem to be much there.

try www.wagglepop.com .

They have a big launch coming up.

Honestly though, if the miniscule rates eBay charges, even with the
announced increases, are that much of an issue with a vendor, they are
already wasting their time. This all may be a good way to filter out
all of the junk auctions on eBay - the sort you see come up on free
listing days etc.

Personally - I don't understand it. It's not like the sellers are
actually paying the fees themself. We all know they just tack it on to
the selling price and mark it down as the cost of doing business. Does
it really matter if they charge $10.40 instead of $10.00 for their
goods? It's generally still a better buy than you would get at your
local market - if you can even find the items locally.

(FYI - I am a VERY VERY small time private seller at eBay. I do not
have an eBay storefront)
