Go get it weighed at a farm store or transfer station. Rob |

I havev a Chris Craft scorpion 189 (17 ft) w/ 4 cyl mercuiser on a single axel EZload trailer, that I pull behind a half ton 1976 chevy pickup wth a straight 250 six. (fairly light vehicle for today) it pulls easy and I have had no problems. you may wish to check out your van's rating though. Tim |

I towed a similar boat with a 95 Windstar with no problem.
I now tow a 17 1/2 foot Sea Ray with 100 hp motor using a Chev Venture. It makes me a little apprehensive due to delicate transmissions. I don't tow very far or very often. I have no trouble pulling it up a ramp. Backing down a ramp with the tailgate open is a tremendous advantage, especially when the trailer is empty. Throw on a trans cooler and you should be ok as long as you baby it. If you have overdrive, disable it when towing. Transmission cooler is an absolute must. -- Denis Roy D.
