Me thinks Thunder has a hard on for Bill Gates and Microsoft. Actually, the link I posted was at the bottom of John's link. But you are right, having been bitten by the Microsoft Tax more than once, I don't much care for MS. In case you are unfamiliar with that term, let me explain. For reasons that are no more than a personal choice, I use linux. However, when I purchase a new computer, I am expected to pay Microsoft whether I use their OS or not. It seems MS thinks their EULA is binding on you, not on them. In boating terms, how would you feel if when you purchased a new boat, @ 10% of your dollars went to Save the Manatees? http://windowsrefund.net/modules.php...rder=0&thold=0 |

This is not a problem exclusive to MS. Anyway, I could care less one way or the other about the manatees. Not a problem with them up here in the Great Lakes. ;-) |
