right, having been bitten by the Microsoft Tax more than once, I don't
much care for MS. In case you are unfamiliar with that term, let me
explain.

For reasons that are no more than a personal choice, I use linux.
However, when I purchase a new computer, I am expected to pay Microsoft
whether I use their OS or not. It seems MS thinks their EULA is binding
on you, not on them. In boating terms, how would you feel if when you
purchased a new boat, @ 10% of your dollars went to Save the Manatees?

You would be surprised where some of your money goes. This is not a problem
exclusive to MS.

Anyway, I could care less one way or the other about the manatees. Not a
problem with them up here in the Great Lakes. ;-)
