Battery switches

I have a 27' ProLine with twin 175 Evinrudes. I have 2 batteries, 1
starting and 1 deep cycle. How do I set the 2 battery switches? They are
set to "both" right now but I don't think that is correct. Also there are 2
"Ever Start" chargers, each connected to one battery.

Leave it on BOTH when the engines are running.

Switch it to just one battery when you are sitting at anchor with the
engines off, or trolling so slowly that the engines won't deliver enough
charging current to keep up.

The idea is that when there is a source of charge you want it on BOTH so
that both batteries will charge. When you don't have a source of charge you
want to have it set to just one so that you can't run down both batteries.

Word of caution: It is okay to switch from A to BOTH to B with the engine
running, but NEVER switch to OFF when the engines are running or you could
cause damage to electronics and/or the charging system.
