Self righting "car" seat type PFD?

Does anyone make a self righting car seat infant carrier PFD that is USCG
approved for infants on a boat? I have seen infant PFDs but I can't imagine
they really work that well. It seems a floating car seat type device would work
a whole lot better.

That is an interesting idea.

Maybe a self inflating side and head float would make it less bulky. Like
the auto inflation system on SOSpendors that a lot of pro fishermen wear. .
