We used to have another poster with your problem. He solved it by simply sitting in it, singing "YO HO HO and a bottle of Rum", while it was permanently parked on a trailer in his driveway. He finally sold the boat after the trailer tires went flat. Are you from Kansas by any chance? Eisboch |

Which only goes to show that boating can be universally enjoyed. IMHO it should be made compulsory. DSK |

In either case, I feel for him. Live long and prosper, Tom |

Sometimes I actually miss the old f*rt. Not too often though. |

Who do you think is boatless? I know Harry likes to make things up, but I
would guess he really does have a Parker. Another who specializes in flaming anybody left of Zell Miller once posted, "No, I don't have a boat, that's your and Krause's rice bowl." There are several regulars here who don't boat. Make up a list of the folks who *never* participate in a boating related thread and you'll have a pretty fair idea who they probably are. |

I own a Doral 360 SE, we used it as a floating condo, or rafting up and
socializing with friends. If I lived on the coast, I think I would trade it in for a trawler and do some cruising. I was on Lake Michigan with a friend and we took his trawler over to Georgian Bay on Lake Huron, and fell in love with the idea of being able to do cruising on the Great Lakes, or the coast. Be nice to have Chesapeake Bay or the San Juans to explore. "Gould 0738" wrote in message ... Who do you think is boatless? Luckily for you there is a difference between being in the boat and being in the water. I dont like being in water either (I had some special experience here) but I like being in boats. Get yourself a good lifejackets and enjoy boating! I have shared that experience - last time in the St. Lawrence Seaway. It's very enjoyable. Actually I was talking about an experience with lots of water ABOVE your head for longer periods of time. I avoid this now and keep the head above the water ;) Matt |
