I have a 15 foot tri-hull fiberglass boat with an 80 hp motor. What size
trolling motor can I put on this boat? Thanks, Larry |
trolling motor
Larry,
I have a 22' C-Dory that trolled very easily with a Honda 5. However, that 5 did not have a charging system. And it was the only Honda product that I've ever owned that was never right. Honda took it back and credited me towards a Honda 8 w/ alternator and electric start. The twin 8 was a vastly better choice due to smoothness and keeping the batteries charged all day. -- Dale Gillespie http://groups.msn.com/FishWishersHomePage What's up on the Delta? If you mount a troling motor on the transom, put it on the side opposite the
driver, to help balance the boat when you're alone. Me? I think I'd go with a little electric one on the bow - cleaner, less noise, less mounting hassle. -W "FishWisher" wrote in message ...
