US election too important to leave in hands of Americans
Considering the effect the US administration has on the rest of the world
and especially her next door neighbours here in North America, I propose that Canadians and Mexicans be given some kind of 'weighted' vote. That is...each Canadian/Mexican citizen would have 'half' a vote vs US citizens full vote. I feel the election is too important to leave in American hands. note: some issues .... environment, missle defence, trade etc. |

With all of the foreign money that was behind Kerry's campaign, you guys already had a "weighted" vote...and you still came up 3.6 million votes short. Too bad, so sad, buh bye! |

US companies doing business in Canada will be ordered to leave your Country. We will let the world know that you are no longer our ally and will not defend you if you are attacked.. We will not accept any of your citizens in US hospitals. We will not sell you any of our goods nor will we buy anything from you. We will not subsidize you in any way. You need us far more than we need you. Without us, you are nothing. |
That can be arranged...all you have to do is apply for Statehood in the
United States of America. Should only take about 20 to 30 years for us to decide whether or not to let you join. (My vote is NO). "Don White" wrote in message ... John S is your typical boobus Americanus Bush voter...semi-literate, xenophobic, insecure in his sexuality and too stupid to know when his "leader" is feeding him a plate of bull****. And, unlike you a veteran that served his country. I didn't throw my medals away either. As for the rest, I founded my engineering company on my kitched table 12 years ago. I provide employment for 21 engineers, a secretary, 4 draftsmen, and 1 field construction manager. My company has revenues in excess of 4 million per year. I do not discriminate regardless of race, color, or creed. I have a very mixed staff of people, all hard working and loyal to the business. In the 12 years the company has been in business, only 1 has left for employment elsewhere. My turnover rate is extremely low which indicates that the people are well treated and satisfied with their work. I pay 100% of their health care insurance. I have the exact same insurance coverage as my employees. I do not dicriminate on their pay, each is paid for the particular skills that they have. Profit sharing is done by the company contributing to their 401k plans. In short, Harry, I don't think you are in a position to cast stones at me. I don't have a 35' lobster boat though. Yabbut, the Dems want you to pay a much larger tax bill (since you're soooo rich), so that you have to cut back and lay off a few folks, and they want you to pay for the increasing cost of insurance due to frivolous lawsuits against the "greedy" corporations and small businesses, doctors, etc. (who employ most of us), and they want to complicate your Federal, State, and Local tax laws with mounds of paperwork and new taxes (to give them even more money to waste), and they want to punish you for the hard work and long hours that it took for you to make your business a success by making your life miserable for having dared to become successful. In short, they want to ruin you, put your employees out of work, and then claim that they will "save" them by providing "benefits". Liberals have it ass-backwards. The cart does not push the horse. |
