Actually the state of the economy has little to do with the current sitting president. The president has about as much effect on the economy as a water tuber has control on where he goes when behind the boat. It's more of a wag the dog scenario. The economy goes south. People (wrongly) blame the sitting president. They elect the opposition. The economy rebounds and he claims credit. Dave |
