Default OT--Still wanna make Iraq and the War on terrorism an issue?

According to the latest CBS/NY Times poll (I can't believe I'm citing the
most liberally biased news agencies here), the Republican Party is
overwhelmingly seen as better able to deal with terrorism and handle the
rebuilding of Iraq.

Which party is better able to:
Handle rebuilding of Iraq: Republicans 48%...Dems 25%
Make right decisions on terrorism: Republicans 50%..Dems22%

Interestingly, the economy is a losing issue as well.

Ensure a strong economy: Republicans 42%...Dems 40%

I can. You'd quote Osama Bin Ladin if he said something positive about GWB and
the Republican Party. :-)

The point behind quoting the CBS/NY Times poll is that liberals can't jump
up and say that the source is biased. If I quoted a Fox poll (which, by the
way, has Bush's favorability numbers even higher), you guys would scream
bloody murder.

It doesn't bother you that Fox reports different numbers than CBS and the NY
Times?

Statistically, they're not significantly different. The last Fox News
favorability rating was in mid-November and had Bush at 55%. CBS/NY Times
had him at 49% in that same period. Zogby had him at 55%. So Fox and Zogby
agreed...and CBS/NY Times had him lower.

Does it bother me that CBS/NY Times polls always seem to report numbers
different from everybody else? Of course.

However, the *current* CBS/NY Times poll has him at a 58% favorability
rating.

Does being part of the majority make you feel better about being a
fascist, or does being part of the majority give you some sort of
security in your bigotry and ignorance?

If you really believe the way you do, why do you so often need to post
polls to your position? Are you ashamed to speak without a mob at your
back? Joining the mob does not make your position any less shameful. It
is still anti-American by any measure.

All your polls show is that the majority have little shame or knowledge
of history.

Or is it that CBS/NY Times poll is different than what Fox reports. It just
depends on the spin you put on it doesn't it.
