Media Ignores Success of Afghan Elections

Even an anti-U.S. organization can recognize the good done by American
action, so why not American media?

Because to do so would validate GWB - unacceptable to network media. Note
the recent Halperin/ABC memo: Its the job of ABC news to help Kerry. Note
how much play it is getting. Consider the uproar if it were the reverse.

Yeah, that must be why there was about a half hour story on NPR about
the Afghan election yesterday.

As for the UN taking notice, maybe it's a sign that the U.N. isn't and
"anti-US" as you think.

BTW- a lot more countries are "anti-US" since GWB started antagonizing,
insulting, and bullying them. Think about that for a moment.

And what do you think that Murdock, and Fox does?

I never said there was *no* coverage, just there there has been very little
consistent reporting of the good things that our troops are accomplishing.

Doubtful. The UN will acknowledge events that make the US look good if A)
they have no other choice on the world stage or B) there's money in it.

Already have, and disregarded. Pretty much a red herring. Most of these
countries would have polled as anti US prior to the war in response to any
number of issues.

I can't say, bass, what do they do? We have documentation that ABC News --
a network that broadcasts for the public good and benefit at the convenience
of and with the permission of the government -- is and has been
deliberately slanting their campaign coverage against the President. When
you can similarly document your "wild and baseless allegations" regarding
other networks, come on back and we'll have a sit-down.
