Seal adhesive (Loctite?)
I'm replacing the seals in my lower unit (1979 Merc 70 hp outboard) and the
Clymer manual sez to use "Loctite typa A" on prop shaft seals. What is "Type A' Loctite? If I can't find that, is there an acceptable substitute? Thanks, Tom Creech |

It's similar to Loctite 515 and a hell of a lot cheaper. Later, Tom |

Although their products go by numbers. http://www.loctite.com/int_henkel/lo...id=19&layout=3 Capt. Bill Capt. Bill |
