and how is that different than what we see with the democrats discrediting
the Republicans? Is your world really that binary that you don't see
democrats doing the exact same thing?

And one thing the Dems could do to get just a small start on rebuilding
their credibility

Oh come on. The Dems could heal the sick, raise the dead, walk on water,
and
turn water into wine and still be discredited
in the sight of most Repubs.

You and JimH the same guy?

Non-responsive. The initial post claimed that Democrats needed to do some
things to recover their lost credibilty. My comment was that no matter what the
Demos did, most of the Repubs would not find it credible.

No comment was made about Repub credibility. So where do you get off with your
personal comment?

Yes, if somebody had posted that the repubs needed to do some things to restore
lost credibility, the opposite comment would apply. However, *nobody* posted
such a statement and therefore the opposite comment isn't applicable.

feel is important?

Gould,
I am using the exact same personal comments you used in your debate to me.
When I pointed out to you that according to you , you had just lost the
debate, you said there was nothing personal about calling me Binary Smith
and no one should be offended by such a statement.

Too funny!

Flip/flop. Maybe Chuck should use that as his handle.

I am surprised at this debate with Gould, he sounds exactly like Basskisser.

You mean like Vice President Dick Cheney, lying that he'd never met John

No. Mis-statements or misrepresentations of substantive fact have occurred
in their dozens on the part of both candidates. I read about this recently,
and the prevarication is about the only thing in the campaigns that is, in
fact, balanced.

No. The "...grade-school lies and insults, and the small, small people that
employ them..." that I was referring to were the propensity of folk like
you, Harry, et al to almost always refer to Repubs in pejorative terms, such
as "...not exclusively controlled by witch-burners and/or KKKers...", or
"...many sensible (non-fascist-whacko) Republicans...".

Do away with that puerile stuff, and grown-ups might start to take you
seriously.

That'd be all well and fine, except that there seems to be a lack of
right wingers here, who act "grown up". Most would prefer to act as
children and call people names, etc.
