I need to find the part that connects a teleflex throttle cable to the ball
joint on a carburetor. My old one has a spring-end, that allows the
throttle cable to take up slack prior to increasing the throttle arm on the
carb, allowing the transmission to engage prior to increasing RPMs.

Is there a name for this part? Any links to where these can be purchased
would be greatly appreciated.
