3hp force/mariner impeller

Hi all

I believe I have messed up the impeller in my force/mariner 3hp
outboard by running it dry in my workshop (having just fixed another
problem). I didn't realise that the impellers disintegrate without the
presence of water... Well anyway there is no water coming out of the
telltale and there was plenty last time I ran it (2 days ago).

Is it easy to replace? Can anyone explain where it is/how to replace
it on my particular outboard? I already have a spare one.

Thanks

Simon M

First, make sure there isn't something clogging up the tell-tale. How
long did you run it dry? Anyway, no matter, although I've never
changed one on that particular motor, it certainly can't be any more
difficult than on a big one, and that was quite easy.
