Edwards is sounding like a broken record too.

Cheney doesn't put up with any ****. He's a rock.

That was a killer line.

Edwards is coming off as a shyster attorney.

I love the fact the Cheney brought up the fact that he (Edwards) did not pay
$600,000 in taxes due to loopholes.

Sounded to me as if Cheney forgot his president's name...how many times
did Cheney actually say the name Bush or phrase President Bush.

--
We today have a president of the United States who looks like he is the
son of Howdy Doody or Alfred E. Newman, who isn't smarter than either of
them, who is arrogant about his ignorance, who is reckless and
incompetent, and whose backers are turning the United States into a pariah.

What, me worry?

Harry, I agree usually with your politics and like the wit and knowledge
with which you sometimes/often write your posts here. But it's sad that
you (probably) won't admit that Cheney did a much better job tonight
than Edwards did. It undermines your intellectual-honesty/credibility.

What's to undermine? Degrade something that doesn't exist?

As opposed to Cheney's repeated obfuscation and lies?

Really? Given all the openings, why wasn't Cheney able to defend the
administration against all the admissions made this week by Bush
Administration appointees? He obfuscated the entire discussion about the
Bush Administation's lies and mistakes.
