Please tell me how he's going to do all this.
"progressively" :-) |
John,
Bill O'Reilly is an entertainer, he is not a journalist nor is he an intellectual giant. He is not in the same league as Jim Lehrer. If we wanted a intelligent conservative on the level of Jim Lehrer, I would recommend George F. Will. "JohnH" wrote in message ... I am sure Lehrer is biased but it appeared that he was trying his best to remain neutral, which doesn't mean that he didn't lob Kerry a few easier balls. My opinion is he did give Kerry slightly easier questions, but unless you asked each camp to provide the questions it is going to happen.. Which is why Bill O'Reilly should moderate the next debate. I was trying to be polite, but I do agree with you. Whenever someone is
winning an discussion he cuts them off. I loved the video of him walking out of an interview, because they were asking tough questions. "P.Fritz" wrote in message ... Or shouts them down if he thinks he can get away with it.
The other one that drives me nuts is greta van whatever.....I wish someone would tell her to OPEN HER MOUTH when she speaks.......it looks like she is practicing to be a ventriloquist (sp?) I think it's best that the Republican party and the president's staff continue to spew whatever they like from now until the elections. No matter how stupid a person may be, *everyone* eventually becomes nauseated by that sort of behavior and shuts it out. |

"Gary Warner" wrote in message ... Bush looked annoyed. What is a good word for someone who *thinks* he's right and has no doubt about it, but that is actually wrong? I'm not just looking for jerk or simpelton but something that actually conveys that concept of thinking you are right (or in the right) when in reality you are not. Anyway, Bush looked like he *knows* and *feels* that he is in the right and is doing everything right and that anyone who askes him any questions about it or says otherwise is just wasting his time. Kerry looked presidential. I don't know the word, either, but Kerry addressed the behavior at one point by saying it's one thing to be committed to an idea initially, but wrong to be totally inflexible as new information is discovered. I'm sure this idea was lost on Bush. DELUSIONAL. |

I bet also you believe that clothes make the man......right? |
