This is in Hackworth's IS IT TRUE column. It's an unsubstantiated claim per
HACK.

As the item states, the reason Hack published it is to seek substantiation.
He takes the time to dig to the bottom of any rumors about abuse or
mistreatment of our service people, and that's a damn fine public service.

Nobody said it wasn't a damn fine public service. But the implication in
the original thread was that it is TRUE. It's an allegation. As for Hack,
I think I ran into him in country when I was CIA counterinsurgency back in
71. I've never heard anything but high praise for him. Let's let facts
speak as facts.

If one is searching for the truth, one of the least accurate methods would
be to ask for replies. If one really wanted to know the truth, he would
visit a representative sample of PX bookstores to determine if what she says
is accurate.

If we use the number of posts in rec.boats saying you are a lying idiot, it
would show the "truth" that you are a lying idiot.
