OT--Can't they make up their minds?

When Gallup showed that Bush's lead had risen to 13 points among "likely"
voters, the liberal media whined that the more accurate number was the 8
point lead he had among "registered" voters.

Now that Bush's "registered" voter lead has *risen* to 11 points, the
liberal media touts the "likely" voter number that has fallen.

What is wrong with the media? Aren't there any non-partisan journalists
left?

Bush's lead gets smaller in poll
By Susan Page, USA TODAY
WASHINGTON - President Bush leads Sen. John Kerry by 8 points among likely
voters, the USA TODAY/CNN/Gallup Poll shows, a narrower advantage than Bush
held in mid-September and one that puts him at the edge of the survey's
margin of error.
Among all registered voters, the president's lead widened a bit to a
statistically significant 11 percentage points.

Nope. All of them...CNN, CNBC, ABC, Fox, CBS and NBC are biased. The
newspapers are the same way. The only way to make sense of the news is to
read several sources.

This is what you get when you allow three companies to own ALL the
news outlets in the country.

And guess what - you can blame this on President Clinton because he
appointed Michael "I don't see anything wrong with one company owning
all the media" Powell to do precisely that - make it happen.

He did and this is the result. It will only get worse in the coming
years.

All the best,

Tom

I certainly wouldn't count USA Today among the non-partisans.

It's not as much the source as it is the journalists. Every piece of news
that comes out today seems like it should be on an op-ed page.

The funny thing is that typically, the 'likely' voter trend leans
conservative compared to registered, so should have a higher number....some
is cooking the books.....

The other funny is how all the polls tend to be consistent, except for
rasmussen (sp?) which is what all the loonie left is quoting as if they had
any hope.
