Theft/Vandalism Alert - Northerrn Chesapeake Bay Area
 

While on the subject of theft alerts, there have been a couple of
reports of boats being broken into and vandalized/robbed along the Elk
River at both Chesapeake Isle and Osprey Point.

One boat, they broke into by forcing the door and damaged door frame and
door. All electronics gone as well as all boating equipment- I think
they left the toilet and a couple of chairs. Even our lines, fenders and
flashlights are gone! Big items were unwired and cut out like stereo,
GPS chartplotter.

Another boat, broken into, nothing stolen but was vandalized; bimini
sliced, all cushions and seats sliced.
