This is 64 nm South of Dauphin Island, AL
Which is less than 100's of miles.

Cripes, it went to 42' waves and then the latest report doesn't have
any. Gusts of over 73 kts at 5m above the sea, no wonder. I'd hate to
be where that buoy is.
