Good grief.
I mean talk about spam. You guys with used aircraft carriers for sale will do anything to put your offering in front of a group of likely propsects! I do have a buyer in mind. A dentist down in FLA. He's a staunch Republican, so money should be no object. Odds are extremely good there's a dental compartment already aboard somewhere, so he can dodge across the Atlantic at 25 knots, do a couple of weeks worth of charity dentistry off of (where else?) the Ivory Coast, take a short detour to the Med ....(not to be confused with taking his meds)...on the way home, and write the entire thing off as a charitable enterprise. Even with a lucrative dental practice, he ought to be able to carry some of the $4.5mm forward for a year or two. :-) One problem, the sale might be subject to the buyer securing an acceptable slip in his local marina. Oh yes, and a spec I should ask about. How many tons of fuel per nautical mile? :-) |

Is trailer included? I would guess the trailer, if included, is a three
axle? J K http://www.frenchcreekboatsales.com/...e_Number=BOP12 Length: 693' 3" H.P.: 36,000 SHP Be the envy of the marina, size does matter!. With 17,500 tons you can be sure that dingy won't hinder your progress. |

I think I might need a bigger air compressor to get the proper tire
inflation on that trailer! gds "J K" wrote in message . 198... Is trailer included? I would guess the trailer, if included, is a three axle? As I posted earlier, approximately 4 nm per ton of fuel oil... So, assuming 6 lbs per gallon, then we have 4nm per 333.33 gallons, or 83 gallons per nm, or around 72 ft per gallon... Not bad fuel economy. Read somewhere that either the liner Queen Elizabeth Queen Mary got 6" (yes: inches) per gallon. bill |

I would suggest taking out that uneffecient old 1940's oil burning propulsion system and replace it with a nice thermo-nuclear reactor system. That way you don't have to refuel every thousand miles and can easily go 20 years before having to refuel. |

Have not heard from Skippy lately. Is he busy trying to con (oops) get a

You need 23,000 tons, 75,000 total horsepower, 2 Nuclear Engines and a 48mm thick armoured steel icebreaker hull. Nuclear Icebreaker Yamal is now available for offers, the Russian trade routes it kept open are not reaching the $4,000,000 needed to sustain operations. The companys owning her are not able to source fuel supplies independently. One Reactor is still operating but both could be bought into service by a capable owner. Needs minor repairs to stern and bubbler system. Range: 10 Years You need the power to clear the marina , you need off trade capabilities you need theYamal ! |
