Default Anyone else noticing that Euros...

I do not know if it is still prevalent, but for years Yen was not an
acceptable international payment currency in Japan. Was an artificial prop
to the Japanese economy.

It's the currency of Europe: why are you surprised it's what they deal

in? Do US
firms deal in Yen when dealing with Japan?

Ack, of course. But maybe I wasn't clear enough. Previously, I'd run
across vendors who quoted DM AND dollars or frances AND dollars, et
cetera. Now I am seeing mostly quotes in Euros.
