O/T - US going to *ell in a handbasket!
 

Bad enough that I read earlier this week Ohio has been allowing concealed
weapons since January. In tonight's news, I see assault rifles will be
allowed in the US. What are they thinking? Canada should hire the Israelis
to build us a barrier wall along the border. All straight thinking
Americans should immigrate north ASAP to beat the rush.

Thanks for the offer Don. Four more years of Bush could indeed cause
this country to "turn the corner," as our fearful leader is fond of
repeating. Unfortunately, we'll find out that hell is right around that
corner.

I'm looking into Canada right now for just those reasons, Parry Sound,
Ontario, to be specific. It's just a couple hours north of Toronto and
right on Lake Huron. The area north of there to Kilarney is supposed to
be rivaled only by Greece as the best cruising in the world. It's also
right next to the Trent-Severn Waterway.

I don't want my boys to be drafted and sent to Iran, France or wherever
****es off this chickenhawk president next.

I agree. If your draft is brought back, I expect we'll see lots of
Americaaans up here...something like the 60's.
The area I live in is crying out for immigrants. If you like Maine, you'd

Not nearly so as our President and his band of chickenhawks. They put
our kids lives in peril over a combination of ideological mumbo jumbo
and capturing the second biggest known oil pool in the world.

War and putting our troops at risk should be employed as a last resort,
not a pre-emptive bamboozle.

No one should be subjected to such disrespect, least of all the troops
that defend our country.
