Those wacky Floridians

A 'senior' couple from Florida drove their motorhome off the Bar Harbour ME
to Yarmouth NS ferry this week. When questioned by customs, they declared no
firearms.
He he!....after a search a 38 cal pistol was found hidden in a secert
compartment. They were fined $ 1000.00 CDN and forfeited the pistol. That's
the second one this summer. Previous offender was from South Carolina.
News Alert! Leave those shootin' irons home.
You won't need them up here.

They're going to be giving attendees
to the Nova Scotia International Airshow a sneak peek at this innovative
attack plane. Word is, that even with it being human powered, it has
the ability to reach the UK in less than three weeks!!!

I took my motercycle into Canada on a small two lane road out of New
Hampshire(
maybe Hwy 3). I told the inspector I had no firearms. He made me unload
every
bag to see for himself.

You might have needed a firearm for self-protection while driving a
motorcycle down "Moose Alley", AKA Route 3 in Pittsburg, NH. A 1000 pound
bull can be irritable when provoked during rut.

Relevent Boating Content: There are several lakes nearby that provide
fishing and wildlife viewing from a boat. Umbagog Lake in particular excels
for viewing moose, eagles, and osprey. There is a boat launch site at
Sargent Cove on Route 26. Watch out for the wind, it's a shallow lake so the
waves come up quickly.
