O/T Cher's 'Farewell Tour'

Wife & I were invited to brother-in-law's Skybox at our local Arena to see
Cher's show.
Quite a production...very colourful and energetic. The supporting dancers
were also gymnasts. I must admit...I like the old 'Sonny & Cher' music
better than most of the new stuff but we did enjoy the show. Damn, that Cher
looks fabulous. What a body...especially in some of her more revealing
outfits. She would put 'lead in the pencil' of all but the most fervent
Republicans.

Thanks for the review and the chuckle Don. She's certainly invested
heavily in her looks, but then, they are here stock in trade.

She's definitely a talented entertainer.

I always liked Cher. She did some damned fine movies, too, like
Moonstruck and Witches of Eastwick.

Uh, you forgetting Silkwood and Mask?

She was amazing in Moonstruck with Nicholas Cage.

I was never a fan of her brand of commercialized music, but it's hard to not
like Cher, and the movies mentioned, where she was a worthy co-star. She
did a brief performance on TV years ago..... maybe on Johnny Carson, or...?
She sang the Leon Russell classic, "A Song For You." It was the most
extraordinary, electrifying one-song performance I've ever seen, bar none.
Worth finding, if a video still exists.

If anyone bothers to search, and actually finds it, I'd love to have the
link. I promise I'll view it from the laptop, on my BOAT.

As I recall, she if one of the only, or perhaps the only, singer to have a hit
song in every decade since she began her career.

That's right! Four decades of hits.
