Fish, fish, and more fish!

JohnH wrote:

Wow, what a day on the Chesapeake Bay! Yesterday started with a roar, the wind
blowing through the rigging at about 20 mph. The waves were on the high side of
2 to 3 feet, water was coming over the bow, and Old Fart, Gimp, and I were out
to catch some feeesh!

We got an early start, hitting the water about 5:45. The water was too rough for
a trip to some decent trolling grounds, so we decided to try our luck with
shrimp, night crawlers, and top water lures if we found some breakers.

Soon the bite was on! We found a flock of sea gulls working the water and snuck
up along the edge of the breakers. Old Fart was bringing in a striper on almost
every cast! Gimp and I caught our fair share, but whatever Old Fart was using (a
crocodile, or alligator, or something with red on it) was definitely doing the
trick. Before long the striper action died down, and we were hunting something
new.

Trying out the shrimp and night crawlers proved the right course of action. Gimp
actually caught two flounder, and Old Fart and I caught a couple of white perch.

Before long we saw the birds working again, so off we went. More stripers
provided a lot of action, and we even hooked up three blues!

What a day!!

Oh, did I mention that none of the fish was over ten inches long? Oh well!

You should have called...I would have told you what the weather was like.

Save some $$$ the next time you want to fish. The little fish store in
Chesapeake Beach sells bigger bait than you seem to catch fish.

I'll probably go out Sunday if we're not in the middle of thunderstorms.
Then we're heading down to Virginia Beach again the end of the month,
and New Orleans in mid-September for a few days. If I can't catch any
feesh there, I'll settle for some gumbo.

John,
If you waited for Harry to tell you it is a good time to go boating, you
would get out as often as he does, maybe 3 times a year.

Have you noticed every time you mention boating, he tells you did it all
wrong.

You don't fish correctly, you fish for the wrong fish, you go to wrong place
to fish, you use the wrong bait, your boat is in the wrong place for fishing
and on top of everything else you are ugly. ; )

Harry is just jealous because his boat is collecting dust instead of fish.

He has a boat?

John, nice story. Looks like you had a great time.

My guess is he has a Parker, but since he doesn't have any friends and his
wife is ****ed off over his doctor, doctor story he has no one to boat with.
Harry has decided if his only boating partner is Harry Krause he would
rather not go boating. Can you imagine spending the day with Harry? Either
can Harry, so he lets his Parker sit there collecting dust. It is one dirty
boat.

Harry is also upset with JohnH, because John will occasionally post a
boating topic, and that tends to screw up his political posts. ; )

JohnH,

Those who are actually successful, do not need to tell everyone how
successful they are. They definitely don't need to fabricate stories about
their lives, boats, intelligence and wife. The fact that Harry spends more
time in rec.boats than anyone else, singing his own glory at the top of his
lungs, says more about his lack of success than anything we can say.

Gould might be even more liberal than Harry, but he is much more successful
debating his views, in his writing style, and actually getting people to
change their minds. That again, says more about Harry's IQ and EQ than
anything we could say.

Still, because Harry loves to insult people, it is fun to point out his
weakness.

No offense, fellow, but you and several of your friends here seem to have no
existence outside of your life as a flea in Krause's fur. You do realize he's
playing you over and over and over and over and over and over and over, and
whenever he says jump, you seem to yip and yap and say, how high, how high?

Krause's sock puppet come out of the closet once again....you can tell by

Harry, Harry, Harry, if you are going to use a sock puppet, you should
really change your writing style.

You know what I mean, "fellow". I was proud of you not say "eh".

Sorry, ****head, but it ain't me.
I'd never elevate pond scum like you to the level of a flea. That's way
too high up the evolutionary scale for you right-wing retards. And
besides the poster mixed his metaphors. Fleas don't yip.

I'm the only person who uses the word fellow? Highly unlikely.

Idiot.

But whoever he/she is is right...you do yip and yap and yip and yap, a
habit of dogs and pondscum.
