outdrive adjustments?

I bought my first boat recently and am still
geting comfortable with operations. I have
6 buttons to adjust the outdrives on my boat
they say "IN, UP/OUT, UP" my question is
what are these adjustments for... I have trim
tabs on the boat and have been using those
for adjustments.

Thanks

Paul

In is lower unit down.
up/out is for timing the drives up while running
Up is for raising for trailering.

up/out should only raise the drives so far and then the up button would be
used to raise it the rest of the way.

Would help a heck of a lot if we knew what kind of boat your purchased and
which power package. Until then just push the button and be happy.

Your boat sounds overly complicated. My boat only has three buttons and,
just as a favor, I might be willing to make you an even trade.
