I've winterized the engine (I actually stalled it with Mystery oil this
year) drained the block of anitfreeze (It felt like warm **** on my hand)
now is there a way to drain the carburetor of gasoline?

There are no drains on the Q-Jet. You won't have a problem if you stabilized
the fuel and ran the engine 15 minutes before you fogged it. The engine is
better off with antifreeze in it, than leaving it dry.

The carb is better off with gas in it too.

I would guess the fuel has evaporatated from the carb by now ... the bowl
does vent to the outside.

I thought the carb would get sticky with varnish if it had a bowl and float
valve full of gas.. When I disconnected the fuel-in line I was surprised
that no gas came out so yes it must have evaported.

Normally you do not get fuel from the line, unless you have just run the
engine and the line is still pressured. The fuel in the float bowls will
not flow back out.
