That was certainly right up there on the dumb things list. We've done that trip in 11 days on our 8 1/2 knot trawler and I can guarantee it was a lot more comfortable. And we didn't blow thru any slow speed/no-wake zones.

That was certainly right up there on the dumb things list. We've done that trip in 11 days on our 8 1/2 knot trawler and I can guarantee it was a lot more comfortable. And we didn't blow thru any slow speed/no-wake zones.

That sort of reminds me of my buddy Dennis taking a 250 Yamaha from
Annapolis to Ft Lauderdale to get a Berty 40sumpin he had to deliver
back in Annapolis. (he could put the bike on the boat)
He said it was cold and raining the whole way. If we all ever find
ourselves over a beer you need to hear about that odyssey. He is one
of my golf buddies.
