Mr. Luddite[_6_] May 11th 21 01:24 PM

The Letter

Yesterday I received a letter from the Internal Revenue Service.
(I am sure I am not the only one).

It was a single page form letter with "The White House" as the
letterhead. The letter was in English on one side and
in Spanish on the reverse side.

The form letter was from Joe Biden, reminding the addressee
that under his administration the Recovery Act had been
passed and most Americans should have received a stimulus
check of $1,400 per person that is in addition to the $600
check last December (before he took office) for a total
of $2,000 per person "as he promised".

The letter then went on to describe the promises he made
regarding fighting the Corvid pandemic and the wonderful
job his administration is doing about it.

I put the letter back in it's envelope and noticed the
envelope had a warning on it about being for
"Official Use Only" and a fine of $300 is imposed for
personal use.

The letter was nothing more than a political stunt.

I think Mr. Biden should be fined $300 for every one of
these letters that were mailed at taxpayer's expense.

Hmmm...did you post a similar complaint when your boy Trump sent out a
similar letter? Probably not.

I haven't been happy with the ways politicians abuse the franking
privilege since ... forever.
Their crap goes straight to the trash. It was still pretty egregious
putting this in an IRS envelope. Now Biden has put himself in the same
class as those nigerians who call on the phone saying they are the IRS
and I will go to prison if I don't send them some gift cards.

OTOH If you don't do much, it is hard to be accused of doing much
wrong. Hiden Biden still seems to be hiden.
BTW what happened to Russia, Russia, Russia?
They are actually being evil again and dead silence from Hiden.
Yeah they deported some maids at the Russian embassy and issued a
tersely worded protest but Biden is been pretty quiet about doing
anything serious.
I guess what better way to be sure we never find out what happened in
Ukraine with Hunter than to have the iron curtain fall over it.
