temp in August is about 62F (for a week or two) and it is 37 now. Like

There are plenty of places where the water is too cold for swimming but not
for recreation on or at the ocean.

Yeah I know. I "recreated" in the North Atlantic for about 5 weeks.
Life expectancy if you fell in the water was measured in minutes and
we were chipping ice off the superstructure.

I prefer not boating in "Drysuit with fleece or polypro layers,
