You make a good point about the FCC. They are all political
appointees of course, and it is in the best interest of the two major
parties to maintain the status quo by limiting the chances of a third.
It would probably take a supreme court ruling to change that.

You make a good point about the FCC. They are all political

And the party presently in control is already proposing to politics the
SCOTUS even more by stacking the court. I think it would be a good thing
if they try to increase the court, that the states propose and pass a
Constitutional amendment to term limit judges.
