COVID-19 infections are decreasing in United States, with 164,570 new
infections reported on average each day. That’s 66% of the peak — the
highest daily average reported on January 7 when Trump was president.

Probably just a temporary pause, but we can hope for the best here.

We'll see. I think the decline is probably due to the reduction in
holiday travel and celebrations; the beginning of the vaccine rollout;
and Joe Biden's leadership.

I doubt any Biden leadership is involved. They already stated winter would
have higher infection rates, and lots less gatherings. Look how many less
BLM riots. And the vaccine is not a Biden product. The only thing Biden
has accomplished in the less than 2 weeks is a record number f executive
orders. And most do not seem really great for the people who, actually work
and pay taxes in this country.

You're right. A quote from the Washington Post:

"But in expanding supply — among the most critical hurdles to a return to
normalcy — Biden has relied on strides made under the previous administration,
hoping that he and his team can help further expedite production and keep the
country ahead of dangerous virus variants spreading in the population."

(Imagine. The Washington Post actually printing something like that!)

What leadership? I haven't seen squat out of him except saying you
needed a mask on government property and that has been true since last
summer.

That is really just talking up what a great job private industry has
done in developing a half dozen different vaccines in a blazingly
short time and as soon as they can get this out into the private
pharmacies in quantity, vaccinations will be like flu shots. (they pay
you $10-15 for them here) The government just needs to get out of the
way.

Biden is just doing what he's done ever since he's been in
Washington. Collecting a paycheck, fereting out deals for
himself, and doing nothing but swaying in the breeze.
