Space launch today

Watching the pre-launch activities.

The new equipment, space suits, etc. sure are modern looking
compared to the old NASA stuff. The astronauts don't even
carry their own cooling equipment like they used to.

Almost looks like something out of a futuristic TV show.

There has been huge progress in the last 40 years. I'm looking
forward to the first Mars missions. Hope I'm still around to see
them. I'd have to say that Elon Musk comes close to being the Thomas
Edison of our time - brash to the point of being arrogant, incredibly
far sighted, and extremely productive. No one else even comes close.

Actually more like Edison that meets the eye. He has invention
factories with skilled engineers bringing to fruition his crazy ideas.
It is good getting the US back into space tho.
It was pretty embarrassing that the people who took us to the moon
were hitching a ride to low earth orbit from the Russians.
