Rand Paul tests positive
 

I wonder how Rand Paul's positive test and quarantine might
affect the Senate debate and vote (tomorrow?) on the
stimulus package.

My understanding is that Senators must be present to vote.
Voting remotely is not allowed.

I heard one journalist say there are contingency plans
for this but I don't know any more about them.

Also my understanding ... the House can vote by
unanimous consent to pass a bill without having
all Representatives present.

Just don't know how the Senate rules read.

Rand Paul may have been a potential "nay" for the
bill because of the unrelated amendments he was
arguing for. He also may have dropped them and
is prepared to vote "yay" ... assuming he can vote
at all.

Sure I do...cheap joke at the expense of two of the biggest assholes in
Congress. I hope Randy Paul doesn't use his socialistic government
health insurance to pay for his treatment, if necessary. Matt can just
drink his way through it.

Sure I do...cheap joke at the expense of two of the biggest assholes in
Congress. I hope Randy Paul doesn't use his socialistic government
health insurance to pay for his treatment, if necessary. Matt can just
drink his way through it.

They don't have "government" insurance. They use a private company,
via the ACA, just like most of us. They do get a sweet deal on it tho,
much cheaper than regular folks.

within the last week, Rand's crazy daddy wrote an article that basically
claimed the virii was just a a joke. No question that Loonytarianism is
