Yup. He got the job done and preserved more of his fortune.

Cost him nearly a billion to accomplish it but it would have
cost him a lot more if Bernie became POTUS and was able to
tax him another 2 percent on his fortune.

Smart businessman.

Hah hah hah. I doubt if his personal wealth was a factor or motivator.
Unlike Trump, Bloomberg is a real billionaire, with about $50 billion.
Not everyone is motivated, like you, by Trumpism.

You're really becoming a Trumpflake...you support Trump here every
chance you get, but when he is criticized, you accuse those doing it
with being trolls.

It's how you deal with trolls. Gets them excited and they go out of
control.

Justin taught me that. :-)

He didn't get that $50 billion from socialism and he didn't get to
keep it by paying an extra penny of income taxes. If you think he was
really going to open up his tax returns you should put down the
lighter and step away from the bong. This was a vanity campaign and
evidently his vanity was costing more than he was willing to spend. He
wanted to kill off Bernie and I guess he assumes that mission was
accomplished.
It will still be interesting when the "Senator from MBNA" starts
getting a little more attention from the Warren/Sanders people.
