Anyone happen to watch..

Donald Pig Vomit deliver his message to the troops?

It was a politicized abortion.

What an asshole Trump is.

I watched most of it.

Thought it was good. Trump is knowledgeable as to
the mission of each branch and spoke coherently
and properly to each of the service leaders without
a script or teleprompter, unlike past Commander in Chiefs.

It was a "down to earth" discussion.

I suppose you let Donald Pig Vomit off the hook, as usual, there are
other opinions:

"Washington (CNN)President Donald Trump struck a nakedly political tone
during a Thanksgiving call with US service members stationed around the
world as he steered the conversation toward controversial political topics.

Speaking with a US general in Afghanistan, Trump likened the fight
against terrorists to his efforts to prevent a group of migrants from
illegally entering the United States, and he assailed federal judges who
have ruled against his administration. The President also pressed the
commanding officer of a Coast Guard ship in Bahrain on trade before
touting his trade policies and arguing that "every nation in the world
is taking advantage of us."

US Presidents have traditionally called troops stationed abroad during
the holidays to boost morale and remind the country of their service,
making Trump's rhetoric yet another striking break from the norms of
presidential behavior. After the call wrapped, Trump entertained more
than two dozen questions from reporters and once again discredited a CIA
assessment about the killing of Washington Post journalist Jamal Khashoggi.

"This was, sadly, predictable and avoidable," said retired Rear Adm.
John Kirby, a CNN military and diplomatic analyst. "The President's
conduct on that call, the manner in which he politicized it,
demonstrated an utter and complete disregard for what military service
means."

Oh. CNN. Of course.

Military members abroad are not isolated from the political horse****
going on here in the states. It's a morale builder for them to know
that despite all the political background and the attempts by the left
to d-legitimize him as POTUS and Commander in Chief to know that he
has their back, the nation is extremely proud of them and they are doing
a great job under very arduous conditions.

Of course, you wouldn't know.

Nope. The History Channel is for not seeing Trump.
Miss all the official events.
I see too much of him on the "fake" news.

People are saying all but the whites with low education in
the military don't like Trump.
Heard that on the "fake" news.
Anyway, that's what people are saying.

Latest is than a trip is in the works.* He alluded to it in his
phone call to the troops.

But I suppose if he does the complaints from the Dems will be
flying before the announcement is even completed.* Top of the list
will be:

"Grandstanding to his base"

along with the exorbitant cost of his security detail.

Trips by the POTUS to a war zone are usually not announced ahead of
time for obvious reasons.* Next thing you will hear is that he was
there.* Stay tuned.

He'd be better off eating a plate full of romaine lettuce. And so would
the country.

I've heard retired Admirals and Generals saying they're happy
that 'Ol Bone Spurs hasn't visited the troops.
It's uncomfortable all around, they say politely.
That was on the "fake" news that people were saying that.

How much time and gas are you going to spend returning lettuce to the store?

We drop over a couple times a week anyway. 10 minute walk from our house and being retired it's nice to get out...especially in the cold blustery weather.
