Throw in some hillbilly music and some in here would be in Heaven.


Better believe it! We ate a lot of squirrel while I was a kid. Dad and I went squirrel hunting just
about every Saturday when they were in season. Always bagged four or five, which was enough to feed
the family. No fancy prep though. Rolled the pieces in flour, browned them in a Dutch oven, then
added some water and put in the oven for an hour or so. Mashed potatoes and squirrel gravy always
set it off just right.

I'll bet they taste better than baby seals, don't you?

fresh blood on my hands isn't offensive. Somebody's got to kill and dress the meat before it gets
put in that styrofoam.

I don’t know about seals, but Grey Whale tastes good. Landlady when I
went to school in Ohio, fixed squirrel cacciatore. Was very good with
Pasta..
