I saw a guy do that once because the kick stand collapsed, so he picked
it up just to have it keel over the other side.....

I posted a video of that here a while back. Funny as hell, but I think
the guy must have been drunk.

When I dropped mine, it dropped on the kickstand side. Whoops!


Harleys have a real bad habit of going over on the kickstand side if
you park in the grass. That is why guys carry a little block of wood
to put under the kick stand..


We were checking in to a motel in Paso Robles years ago, and the motel
owner was proudly showing off and pointing at his new Honda Goldwing out
the window. We were watching as the kickstand sunk into the asphalt and
the bike went over. Really sad owner.


Paso Robles! While stationed in LA, I got the opportunity to visit Camp Roberts several times
working with the CA National Guard. Lovely spot. Wonder if the nudist beach is still over there by
Morro Bay.
