formations and exercise. It was a photo op.

How thrilling. We have lots of big, overly complex ships that move
relatively slowly on the water and are perfect targets for missiles.

We'd do a lot better with more hospital ships dispatched to third world
countries, and more freighters loaded with parcels of food to be
distributed wherever needed around the globe, and each parcel stamped in
the local language, "Gift from the People of the United States."

Did he comment on what he's going to do about it?

Other than dispatching social service workers to help the kids, try to
figure out where their parents are, get medical attention for those who
need it, and offer comfort, what do you expect a city mayor to do in the
face of a cruel federal policy?
