Default OMC Outboard Motor Problems

Hi All, i personally own a 2000 115hp ocean runner with only 126hours on it.....so far just too much money spend and not a good result. i have change the VRO pump, the whole hose system including a new Racor filter system, new plugs, and all the mechanic tell me the same... this motor looks like it just came out of the BOX....all the electrical system is fine and tested. at this point i am running out of options.

Well, by now the boat is more than 18 years old. This post is about 16 years old. Hopefully he got
the problem fixed.

If he didn't disconnect that VRO pump and start running premix, that
motor tossed a rod 15 years ago.
